My Name Is Moses Raah-Shammah Reeds Jr. I Am A 24-year-old Black Male Bo And Raised In South Africa. During My Years In Primary School, I Was Subjected To Tremendous Amounts Of Bullying, Racism, And Discrimination From White Teachers. I Was Bo Six Years After Apartheid Had Ended And The Iconic 1994 Elections Had Taken Place, But What I Couldn`t Wrap My Head Around And Couldn`t Understand Is That After Apartheid Had Ended And Black People All Across South Africa Had Gained Political Power In Every School I Went To Both (private And Gove ment) Were Filled With The Majority If Not All White Teachers. Because Of The Tremendous Amounts Of Racism And Discrimination I Faced, I Decided To Console Myself By Reading And Researching About Great Black Political Figures And Activists Such As Mr. Steve Biko, Mr. Chris Hani, Malcolm X, Dr. Martin Luther King, And So Many More Who Made Me Feel Proud To Be A Black Man And Never To Be Ashamed Of My Blackness. These Iconic Black Figures, Politicians, And Activists Restored My Dignity And Strengthened My Self-esteem As A Black Person. During My School Years Here In South Africa, I Was Made To Believe And Feel Ashamed Of Being Black, But One Of My Great Heroes, Mr. Steve Biko, Restored My Dignity And Made Me Embrace My Blackness With His Iconic Quote, "Black Is Beautiful." I Studied Both Black South African And Black American History, Especially The Trend Of Police Brutality And Absence Of Justice Committed Against Black People In America, And Decided To Write A Fictional Book Called "The Innocent Murderer" Which Combines What I Went Through In South Africa Under The Hands Of White-supremacy And Correlate It With Black American History. The Book Exposes Racism. The Book Gets Into The Mind Of The Oppressed And The Oppressor. I Decided To Write My Life Story In This Book To Help Others Who Faced The Same Level Of Racism And Discrimination And Restore Dignity In Their Lives. As Dr. Martin Luther King Said, Those Who Don`t Speak Out Against Injustice And Evil In The World Are Actually Cooperating With It. So, I Decided To Write This Book As A Weapon Against Injustice. God Bless You. Moses
